Continuous Improvement (CI) Intern - Your future position?

As the CI Intern, you will drive Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset at our site, playing a crucial part in enhancing our operational capabilities. You will also prepare for the MYME Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment and promote a 5S mindset across departments. You will be reporting to the Assistant CI Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in

• Lead key projects aimed at enhancing Continuous Improvement (CI) approach at the site, essential for building operational capabilities.
• Assist in preparing for the MYME Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA) certification by guiding CI ambassadors from each department in evidence gathering.
• Be a primary liaison for the 5S Pilot Programme launched in December 2024, promoting a strong 5S mindset across the site.
• Enhance problem-solving and root cause analysis quality through coaching and guidance for team members in various departments.
• Establish additional CI points of contact at the site during the MYME CI storming period.
• Facilitate site Gembas and lead waste identification workshops to drive operational efficiency.
• Identify and monitor cost-saving projects for MYME in collaboration with project owners, and conduct tollgate reviews for all registered CI projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with local universities to develop a talent pool for potential recruitment into Givaudan.

Your professional profile includes

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science related fields.
• Additional project management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with data management & analysis via Microsoft Excel tools, with great communication skills.
• A curious mindset, strong eagerness to learn & not afraid to ask questions.
• Comfortable working in a factory site.
• Detail-oriented skills with an analytical approach.
