Are you passionate about data-driven decision making and eager to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment? We’re looking for a highly motivated and curious Student Assistant to join our Sales Development & Insights team.
In this role, you will help generate market, consumer, and competitor insights and turn them into clear, actionable recommendations that support strategic decisions.
This position is perfect for a student who enjoys analytical work and also thrives on storytelling through data.
How you will make an impact?
As a Student Assistant, you will be part of the fastest-growing Strategic Business Unit in AFI headquarters in Aarhus. Our team develops, documents, markets, and sells specialized ingredients to customers around the world.
You’ll work closely with a cross-functional, international team and gain exposure to both strategic and commercial aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Insight & Research Trend scanning
- Conduct desk research on market trends, consumer behaviours, competitive landscape, and industry developments.
- Support qualitative and quantitative research projects (surveys, interviews, data cleaning, coding, etc.).
Analysis & Reporting
- Produce clear summaries, dashboards, and short reports that highlight key insights.
- Develop simple and visually strong data visualizations, and contribute to evolving our insights layout and frameworks.
Presentation & PowerPoint Support
- Build client-ready presentations for strategy discussions, internal trainings, and stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain and update internal slide templates, cases, and credentials to ensure consistency and high quality.
What will make you successful?
You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program and have at least two years left of your studies. Most importantly, you’re eager to grow within data, consumer insights, and strategy.
Furthermore, you have
- Strong analytical mindset you can translate data into simple, meaningful insights.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to create structured, clear storylines.
- Curiosity about consumer behaviour, competitive dynamics, and product trends.
- Reliable, proactive, structured, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable collaborating across many stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- And above all, you are nice to work with.
Ambition and willingness to learn matter more than prior experience.
