POSITION: Photo Intern – Part Time
REPORTS TO: Content Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting product and content teams by coordinating communication, processing product samples, validation, product attribute collection and creating / processing / organizing product photography assets as well as audit and cleanup of existing product content on various systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read, understand and manipulate data in Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Basic photography skills and ability to process multi-step process workflow with attention to details.
- Experience with editing images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency (training will be provided – however, basic photo editing skills preferred).
- Ability to independently assess tasks and problems as well as identify methods / tools that best address them.
- Ability to adjust to changing goals and meet assigned deadlines.
- Self-starter, with ability to exhibit noticeable initiative and “above and beyond” attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture high-quality product images using professional-grade cameras, lenses, and other photography equipment.
- Organize and maintain the digital asset management system to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of product photos.
- Adhere to project deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Assist product and content teams with photography of products and data processing needs.
- Work with content to ensure new products are ready per launch schedule.
- Audit and enhance product interchange information.
- Support internal teams with product information (weights, dimensions, data).
- Assist the marketing team on product literature, advertising, sales training and support materials.
- Assist with updating and comparing of competitive content (F&Bs and differentiators)
Opportunities for growth and expansion of responsibilities exist in other areas of marketing which include:
- Assisting with digital marketing activities such as email campaigns, digital advertising, content creation and social media activities.
- Administration of analytic tools to closely monitor campaign effectiveness and overall ROI.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate
- Prefer candidates on path to business or marketing career.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Word.
- Preferred experience with photo creation / editing work flow and software
