About the Role

FINANCE INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

Over the course of 8-12 weeks, you will be a key contributor diving into the heart of our financial operations. You will take direct ownership of the reports that our executive team relies on every single day. You'll spend the internship mastering the complexities of revenue recognition, sharpening your technical Excel skills, and directly supporting our audit readiness.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report Ownership: Take the lead in optimizing and managing our Backlog, Billings, and Sales reports. You will own the daily executive update email, ensuring all stakeholders have accurate, real-time data.
  • Revenue Tracking: Assist in updating contract files with actuals to monitor revenue performance and maintain the quarterly Business Unit Manager file (tracking Plan vs. Actuals).
  • Audit Support: Support the quarterly audit process by performing "three-way sales matches" to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Compliance & Administration: Manage the ASC 606 Questionnaire process, including coordinating with leadership to secure necessary signatures and documentation.
  • Financial Analysis: Help bridge the gap between data and insights by adding meaningful commentary to our monthly and quarterly billing analyses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

This position may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Access to certain controlled information may be limited to individuals who qualify as “U.S. persons” (generally U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals). Non-U.S. persons may still apply; however to be eligible for the role, access to controlled information may require U.S. government authorization.

 

Applicants must be able to comply with applicable export control requirements. For security clearance position, the candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance as required, holding a security clearance is a plus.
