About the Role
 
Membership Events Assistant - Soho House Stockholm (Internship)
 
In order to qualify for this internship you need to have a LIA-period in a Swedish school and have a relevant line of study.
The position is very well suited for students or post-grads that have a strong interest in event management and production.
The internship is full time and unpaid.
 
The period is from end of August until the end of the year. We are flexible with the specific dates.
 
About the role..
 
We are looking for someone studying hospitality or events management who is seeking an unpaid educational learning experiences. We are looking for a Membership Events intern (sw. LIA & Praktikant) to support and collaborate with Member Event Manager on identifying, plan and execute member events. You are communicative, curious and organized.

You are at the core of creating connections between our members through allowing them to participate and host events - on the other side you need to structure and track costs and planning of events to fit budget and targets.

This role will include working evenings and weekends.

Your tasks include but are not limited to support in:
  • Identify and brainstorm creative ideas for events
  • Executing and hosting events
  • Internal and external communication regarding events
  • Administration of past, current and future events

Requirements..

For this role you need to be sociable and proactive. You need to enjoy interacting with our members and guests and be a good communicator as well as problem-solver. 
Preferrably you can say yes to the following:

  • Available and thriving day and night time
  • Active within or interest in the creative fields
  • Languages: English, Swedish
  • Culturally aware, with finger on the pulse
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills, combined with the ability to easily adapt to the brand’s tone of voice
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape and passion for the industry
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A natural team player, who can work with individuals of all experience levels
  • Prior experience within hospitality and/ or events is a plus

We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis until we find the right candidate.
Please note that we will be away for the summer during week 29 and 30.
