Intern - Commercial Analytics & Performance Management – International Region S&SD
Your role:
As Intern – Commercial Analytics & Performance Management, you will play a vital part in enabling and supporting the International Region (IR) Commercial Services organization. In this role, you will join a tight knit & diverse team and will have the opportunity to work with business leaders from all around the world (from EMEA to Latin America to Asia Pacific). Most importantly, your work will be meaningful and commercially impactful: the dashboards and processes we build will be used by 100’s of colleagues globally!
Are you passionate about data science, data analysis, & visualization? Do you have experience building and modelling dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI? Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience as part of an international commercial organization? We look forward to hear from you!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ideate & design new dashboards in PowerBI
- Build, iterate, refresh, & maintain PowerBI dashboards
- Contribute to and drive standard performance management cadences (pull data and prepare emails, join online meetings)
- Improving existing PowerBI dashboards (including data model rework and workflow improvements)
- Brainstorm relevant automation/AI use-cases within the IR analytics & performance management domain
You’re the right fit if:
- Studying at the Bachelor or Master Degree level, ideally in a business management, data science, computer science, or related field
- Fluent or professionally proficient in English (working language is English)
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI (front and back-end)
- Experience with data modeling in PowerBI and/or PowerApps (e.g. connecting multiple reports into a single interface; troubleshooting / fault finding)
- Eye for detail, passionate about delivering with quality
- Energized by understanding and solving problems at the root cause
- Interested in the role of data in business decision-making
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
We offer you:
A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational company. In addition, we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:
- Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
- Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip).
- Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance.
- Paid holidays per internship term.
- The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
