Responsible to meet a total cost target in order to achieve material savings.</p></li><li><p>Create and analyze business cases for each projects from a procurement perspective. Create the best sourcing strategy that mitigates risk and improves the cost.</p></li><li><p>Supports managing and tracking inventory levels of the old (to be obsoleted) and new (to be introduced) products into the market for procurement savings projects</p></li><li><p>Work with the Supplier Quality team in new component release for mass production.</p></li><li><p>Supports standardization and complexity reduction to maximize productivity and material cost savings</p></li><li><p>Support price negotiations with suppliers with fact-based information and opportunities to drive short term product cost reduction improvement. </p></li><li><p>Keeps procurement programs updated for vendors managed locally</p></li><li><p>Support team member Procurement Engineers with Vendor Master Data updates, request for quotations to suppliers, Invoices, among other activities.</p></li><li><p>Loading material price information into SAP (ERP used in the company)</p></li><li><p>Procurement contractual data updates  (price, lead time, MOQ, vendor information)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll need</b> </p><ul><li><p>Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups</p></li><li><p><span>Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Our candidate profile is just a guide.
