Role Summary
The main responsibility of the Marcom Intern (Brand & Communications) is to support branding, marketing communications, digital communications, public relations, and public affairs initiatives. The intern will assist in executing communication strategies to enhance Scania’s brand presence and engagement.
Professional Competencies (Duties and Tasks)
1. Assist in Marketing Communications
- Support in implementing communication plans to increase brand awareness.
- Help in updating marketing materials and ensuring brand consistency.
2. Support Digital Communication Efforts
- Assist in monitoring digital trends and reporting insights.
- Assist in content creation for social media and online platforms.
3. Contribute to Public Relations Activities
- Support in drafting press releases and media content.
- Help in organizing and participating in events.
4. General Administrative Support
- Support in preparing materials for meetings with stakeholders.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, or a related field.
- Internship for a duration above 12 week(s).
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for basic content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
