Overview

Eliot Community Human Services is a broad spectrum behavioral health and human services nonprofit agency that values education, and thrives on providing students with high quality educational experiences across diverse populations and programs. Eliot has a variety of learning opportunities with many talented and experienced supervisors who are excited to share their knowledge and insights. Most programs will only consider full year; two semester placements. Single semester placement opportunities are limited.

The Master’s Level Clinical Intern will receive supervision to meet school and state requirements, group supervision opportunities, and enriched education experience with exposure to cutting edge evidence-based practices.Eliot will provide knowledgeable personnel to supervise students throughout their clinical experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in clinical program including but not limited to one-on-one client care, group facilitation, risk, and treatment planning collaborations
  • Practice person-centered approaches, empathetic listening and a variety of evidence-based modalities.  
  • Adhere to Eliot policy/procedures and agreed upon schedule 16-24 hours/week
  • Complete all orientation training 

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment and good standing in a Clinical Master’s Program 
  • Pass a background and reference check 
  • Must be 21 years of age 
  • Drivers license and vehicle, as needed

  • In-Home Therapy and Intensive Care Coordination (Lynn, Malden)
  • PACT and ACCS Services (Lynn, North Shore, Greater Acton, Metro North) 
  • Homeless Services (Greater Boston)
  • Juvenile Justice Programs (Brockton)
  • Healthy Families (Holyoke/Worcester)
  • Behavioral Health Community Partners (remote position) 
  • Developmental Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury (Greater Woburn, Braintree)
