About the role:

As a Technology to Market intern, you will directly contribute to the process of identifying external funding sources, applying strategically for opportunities, and supporting oversight of awards.

 

You will report to the Digital and Innovation Manager and be located at our Churchill location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research potential funding opportunities and identify opportunities that support Westinghouse research and development priorities
  • Gain familiarity with federal budget justifications.
  • Become familiar with funding opportunity announcements (FOA) and proposal protocols
  • Aid in the proposal development, approval and submission process
  • Aid in contract negotiation with research partners and providers
  • Aid in maintenance of the opportunity database
  • Work with others to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Business Administration, Business Communications, Fundraising, Science, or Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
