<p style="text-align:left"><b>Job Title</b></p>Intern - Early Career Development Program<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Position Overview</b></p><p><b>Position Overview:</b><br /> We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented <b>HR Intern</b> to support our Early Career Development Program Manager. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world HR experience in a corporate setting. You’ll work alongside the Early Career Development Program Manager as they create programs for our upcoming Intern and OMT groups.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Support new hire onboarding processes and orientation sessions</li><li>Maintain and update employee records as needed</li><li>Help coordinate employee engagement activities</li><li>Assist in tracking training completion and organizing sessions for team members</li><li>Participate in HR projects related to performance management</li><li>Assist with administration tasks</li><li>Contribute to the development of early career programs that support employee satisfaction and retention</li><li>Create and maintain SharePoint for Early Career Programs</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Interest in Training, Onboarding, HR, or HR data analytics is a plus</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)</li><li>Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment a plus (not required)</li></ul><p><b>What You’ll Gain:</b></p><ul><li>Practical Early Careers Programs experience</li><li>Exposure to manufacturing and corporate HR functions</li><li>A chance to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives</li><li>Networking opportunities within the company and industry</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Initiate Action</li><li>Solve Problems</li><li>Learn and Apply</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Work Shift</b></p>8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM<p></p><div>Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.</div>
