About the role:

As an Electrica Physical Layout intern you will use knowledge obtained from core college courses. Working with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.

 

You will report to the Electrical Physical Design Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full time onsite position for the summer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skills using Software Packages such as AutoCAD, Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent
  • Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
  • Work with other teams on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
  • Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
  • To evaluate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • No relocation assistance provided

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
