About the Role

Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Company is currently hiring for our 2026 Marketing Summer Internship Program at our Store Support Center located in Brentwood, TN! 

 

The SSC Marketing internship is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in marketing by providing them with hands-on experience supporting our creative, analytics, or local events teams across a variety of initiatives. Over the course of 11 weeks, you will work on projects such as developing content, analyzing marketing data to extract insights and measure campaign performance, and supporting the planning and execution of events to support customer engagement initiatives. This internship provides the chance to deepen your knowledge of marketing operations and experience our culture, while contributing to the growth of the nation’s largest rural lifestyle retailer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Content Creation: Assist in the creation of marketing content, including social media posts, blog articles, email campaigns, and promotional materials. 
  • Social Media Management: Collaborate with the social media team to manage and maintain Tractor Supply Co.'s social media channels, engage with followers, and analyze social media performance. 
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals to develop marketing collateral. 
  • Campaign Support: Support marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, and tracking of results. 
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights. 
  • Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools to extract insights from marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations. 
  • Customer Engagement: Assist in developing and executing customer engagement strategies and initiatives. 

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Creativity and an eye for design and content 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing concepts 
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to derive insights from data 
  • Enthusiasm for marketing and the rural lifestyle 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship 

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Customer-orientation and desire to support a retail organization
