This internship is designed for students who want hands-on experience building real data tools that support how teams plan, track, and make decisions.</p> <p data-start="571" data-end="736">You’ll work with real operational data and help turn it into insights that leadership can use, all while learning in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment.</p> <h3 data-start="738" data-end="763">What You’ll Work On</h3> <ul data-start="764" data-end="1452"> <li data-start="764" data-end="894"> <p data-start="766" data-end="894"><strong data-start="766" data-end="785">Data Pipelines:</strong> Help build scripts that pull data from internal systems and APIs, then clean and organize it for analysis.</p> </li> <li data-start="895" data-end="1034"> <p data-start="897" data-end="1034"><strong data-start="897" data-end="915">Data Modeling:</strong> Learn how to structure raw data into clear, easy-to-use relational models that support reporting and trend analysis.</p> </li> <li data-start="1035" data-end="1170"> <p data-start="1037" data-end="1170"><strong data-start="1037" data-end="1059">Scenario Analysis:</strong> Assist in creating “what-if” models to explore how changes in staffing or resources could impact team goals.</p> </li> <li data-start="1171" data-end="1305"> <p data-start="1173" data-end="1305"><strong data-start="1173" data-end="1199">Dashboards &amp; Insights:</strong> Work closely with the Director of PMO to turn data into dashboards and visuals that tell a clear story.</p> </li> <li data-start="1306" data-end="1452"> <p data-start="1308" data-end="1452"><strong data-start="1308" data-end="1334">Production Experience:</strong> Gain exposure to writing clean, reliable code with best practices around testing, documentation, and maintainability.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="1454" data-end="1482">What We’re Looking For</h3> <ul data-start="1483" data-end="2079"> <li data-start="1483" data-end="1605"> <p data-start="1485" data-end="1605"><strong data-start="1485" data-end="1507">Python Experience:</strong> Hands-on experience using Python, especially Pandas and NumPy, for data analysis and transformation.</p> </li> <li data-start="1606" data-end="1710"> <p data-start="1608" data-end="1710"><strong data-start="1608" data-end="1624">Data Basics:</strong> Understanding of how relational databases work (tables, keys, basic normalization).</p> </li> <li data-start="1711" data-end="1804"> <p data-start="1713" data-end="1804"><strong data-start="1713" data-end="1728">SQL Skills:</strong> Ability to write queries to pull and combine data from different sources.</p> </li> <li data-start="1805" data-end="1952"> <p data-start="1807" data-end="1952"><strong data-start="1807" data-end="1826">Student Status:</strong> Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Data Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.</p> </li> <li data-start="1953" data-end="2079"> <p data-start="1955" data-end="2079"><strong data-start="1955" data-end="1978">Eagerness to Learn:</strong> You enjoy building things, asking questions, and taking ownership of a project from start to finish.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="2081" data-end="2114">Nice to Have (Not Required)</h3> <ul data-start="2115" data-end="2346"> <li data-start="2115" data-end="2169"> <p data-start="2117" data-end="2169">Experience working with REST APIs or JSON/CSV data</p> </li> <li data-start="2170" data-end="2219"> <p data-start="2172" data-end="2219">Familiarity with Git or version control tools</p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Compensation:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Hourly Range: $35-40/hr</strong></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The final hourly rate will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and qualifications.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><span data-teams="true">This role is a temporary position and therefore is not eligible for Geneva Trading’s full-time employee benefits program.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Application expected to close: 2/27/2026&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
