HR Shared Services is a dynamic and diverse team committed to delivering exceptional internal customer experiences. We serve as a centralized hub to address employee inquiries, manage HR administrative and operational tasks, and leverage technology to automate and optimize processes. Our team drives continuous improvement through collaborative project management, cross-functional engagement, and innovation including the integration of AI tools to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency

About the role - you will:

  • Assist in administering the offer process and prepare offer letters for selected candidates.
  • Facilitate the completion of new hires’ paperwork and ensure all necessary documents are accurately filed in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Provide guidance and address queries from new hires and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Conduct engaging and informative orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Perform accurate data entry in the HRMS system, maintaining completeness and integrity of employee information.
  • Participate in HR Shared Services Center project aimed at streamlining and automating HR processes, with a focus on leveraging AI technologies for enhanced efficiency and innovation.

About you:

  • Strong interest in HR and a passion for leveraging AI to enhance HR processes.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong team player with interpersonal skills to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficient in verbal, reading, and writing skills in English, Chinese, Malay, and Thai (for supporting Thai-speaking employees)
  • Able to commit to a 6-month internship program

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Our Penang office is located in Suntech at Cybercity, easily accessible via public transportation.
