RegCo Roles:

Product Listing

Brief Overview:

The Product Listing team is responsible for managing various regulatory projects related to product initiatives including securities product listing applications and product listings in the derivatives market. The products under the team’s charge includes bonds, ETFs, structured products, futures and options.

The team works with business and regulatory units on regulatory assessments, including effectiveness of existing rules, and solutions for new product initiatives.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • The intern monitors global regulatory developments relating to products and asset classes and considers their relevance and application to SGX.
  • The intern will be exposed to the regulatory assessment process for new product initiatives, which includes analysing different product structures, identifying the problem, researching on precedents, jurisdictional comparisons, engaging with stakeholders, etc.
