Summer-Internship 2026: Software Developer (m/f/x) for R&D

Start: July 2026* – 6-8 weeks | 8074 Raaba-Grambach | full-time (38,5 h/week)

What you’ll be doing:

As an intern, you are a fully integrated member of one of our agile development teams. You will work as a software developer on exciting development projects (such as UI, SW Maintenance, etc.). These will be your main tasks could include:

• Independent development of backend components in Java (Spring) or web components in React

• Implementation of automated tests

• Finding, analyse and implement bug fix solutions

• Working with state-of-the-art technologies such as J2EE, React, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Public Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure), Spring

What you bring to the role:

• At least 3rd year of a higher technical school (computer science or comparable) or ongoing studies (software engineering, software design, cloud computing, eHealth, data science, information and computer engineering or similar)

• Quick comprehension and interest in learning and using new technologies

• Basic knowledge in the development of JAVA / J2EE applications; Basic understanding of SQL

• Good written and spoken English skills; German is a “nice to have”

• High degree of initiative, reliability, determination, and willingness to learn

• You have a valid work permit for Austria.

• Willingness to act as a full team member for approx. 6-8 weeks physically in the office and remotely (approx. 60:40%). 8 weeks are desirable. *For an optimal introduction, a common start for all interns is advantageous and we therefore prefer a start on 01.07.2026.
