About the role:

As a Layout Engineering intern, you will report to the Layout and Design Integration Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help perform physical arrangement of the nuclear island structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using 3D design software
  • Perform hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents
  • Work with customers, vendors and our teams obtaining information
  • Plan and schedule to meet requirements
  • Solve technical engineering problems
  • Participate in design reviews and present technical designs and analysis results to team members

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Complete sophomore year of college
  • No relocation assistance provided

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
