Summer 2026 Internship Program - Brown & Brown Risk Solutions

Brown & Brown’s Risk Solutions team, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for curious, driven students to join our 10-week summer internship program. Whether you're pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, this immersive experience is your chance to explore the world of risk management and insurance from the inside out. We’re not just placing policies; we’re helping some of the world’s largest and most respected companies make smarter decisions for their risk appetite. What You’ll Gain

Real-World Experience. You’ll work on projects that matter, like analyzing real client data, conducting benchmarking, and supporting strategic initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to our business.

Professional Development. From job shadowing to one-on-one mentorship, you’ll gain exposure in client meetings and carrier negotiations, and listen in on internal strategy sessions. You’ll also sharpen key skills in communication, leadership, and time management.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze client acquisition and retention trends
• Conduct industry and product research
• Perform claims and exposure analysis
• Create presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Shadow professionals in client meetings and strategy sessions
• Receive mentorship focused on leadership, adaptability, and career planning
   

Who We’re Looking For

• Students graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
• Interested in risk management, insurance, or business strategy
• Strong communicators—both written and verbal
• Self-starters who are organized, adaptable, and collaborative
• Curious learners who want to make an impact
