Internship Program Overview:  

Our Interns are our talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you will experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives. 

Project Title:

InternX: Elevat the Experience

Project Objective:

This project aims to elevate the internship experience for students joining GF. Its scope is broad yet purposeful, focusing on the full onboarding and offboarding journey. Through systematic gap analysis, the project will identify areas for improvement and propose meaningful enhancements. It may also involve exploring digitalization and automation opportunities to drive greater centralization and standardization of processes at both the local and global levels.

Project Description:

The solution will include:

• Proposing innovative activities to engage intern students/schools

• A database/centralized tracker

• Automated workflows for approvals and notifications.

• Centralized MS SharePoint Landing Page established for Internship Key Project Tasks/Milestones
• Learn TA & UR Process, through direct handling internship recruitments within first 4 weeks

• Study the internship lifecycle & identify the gaps for improvement

• Propose solutions & deliver solutions • Deployment & final presentation (Final 4 weeks)

Project Outcome:

Intern:

1) Learn about Talent Acquisition & Overall HR functions within GF

2) Learn and apply the knowledge to solve the process gaps

3) Project management, team works and presentation skills

4) event organization skills (career events, recruitment talks)

Company:

1) enhance the internship experience

2) drive higher efficiency and productivity through centralization and standardization

3) Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of daily operations

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in HR related courses with good digital skills, familiar with Power BI, Power App, Microsoft Share Point

*This application is for students undertaking a 20-24 week credit-bearing internship from June 2026 onwards.
