About the role:

As an Industrial Hygiene intern, you will directly help maintain a safe and healthful work environment and mitigating industrial hygiene impacts.

 

You will report to the Global Industrial Hygiene Program Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time remote position for the summer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and implement industrial hygiene standards and programs
  • Participate in EHS team meetings by presenting on industrial hygiene topics and project progress
  • Conduct hazard assessments and make recommendations for mitigations
  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for regulatory compliance
  • Participate in potential exposure investigations to identify causes and corrective actions
  • Work as part of an inspection or audit team
  • Develop safety briefs, training materials and provide training to improve EHS knowledge
  • Analyze data, suggest corrective actions, develop reports

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene or similar
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Completed Sophomore year of college
  • No relocation assistance provided

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $22.69 per hour.
