Paralegal / Legal Assistant Intern, Transactional Legal Function

Internship Period: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026

Job Description:

As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant for the Transactional Legal function of the Legal Office for Asia, your primary focus will be supporting legal risk management for transactional matters, across the Bank’s businesses including client segments and product offices. You will provide support with key initiatives and projects in the department, including:
 
•    Transactional matters from legal perspective, across the Bank’s businesses including client segments and product offices. 
•    Support key initiatives and projects supported by Transactional Legal.
•    Support members of the Transactional Legal team. Assist the team in performing risk assessments related to legal aspects in Singapore and Asia region related to transactional matters.

Job Requirements:

•    Student of a bachelor’s degree in law is preferred.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
•    Strong communication skills.
•    Good organizational and time-management skills.
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to work well with others in the legal team, contributing to collective problem-solving. 
•    Good understanding of legal ethics and confidentiality.

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.
