Ensuring reporting is correct and requirements have been reached before activating retirement process.Participate in Brainerd Roadway Equipment Shop scheduling and planning meetings. Challenge the status quo and look for opportunities to accelerate the current processes in place.Assist in vetting Regional System Gang turnovers and assignment changes. Ensuring correct reporting is vital for success and fluid transfer of information to all stake holders.Work with mentor to update SAP to accurately reflect equipment assignments and locations as needed.Work with customers to ensure ramp and rider cars are assigned to the correct pool utilizing BNSF EDO, an engineering system used to track and assign rail cars.Extensive time spent in the field inspecting equipment and determining opportunities for replacement/rebuild equipment to ensure reliable equipment for our customers.Daily work is conducted in an indoor/outdoor safety sensitive environment where the working conditions can include diverse and extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet), walking and performing work on uneven surfaces, working around loud noises, fumes, and heavy/moving machinery.
