About the Role

• 8 months of training (Bangkok / Songkhla Office & Offshore)
• 4 months of offshore work and on the job training
• Performance assessment after completion of 8 months training, contract extension for those who pass the assessment.

Job Purpose

Supervisor, SSHE Trainee is responsible for supervising daily SSHE operations, providing SSHE advice and support to the Well Operations Department and contractors. This includes implementing and ensuring compliance with the SSHE Management System (SSHE-MS), as well as relevant SSHE rules and regulations. The role ensures the effectiveness of SSHE-MS and safe systems of work at the site, including those of contractors

Key Accountabilities

Under the SSDP Program, the trainee will learn from experienced instructors and an assigned mentor to develop competency within the first 8 months, and deliver the following key responsibilities:

  • Supervise teams and manage contractors’ SSHE performance to ensure activities are executed in accordance with SSHE-MS and contract requirements.
  • Communicate and implement SSHE campaigns and initiatives, ensuring successful adoption by all contractors
  • Facilitate incident investigations and coach/advise teams to achieve quality Corrective and Preventive Actions (CTAs) and identify root causes for future SSHE improvements.
  • Conduct routine SSHE audits and inspections as per the SSHE audit plan.
  • Follow up on findings and recommendations from incident investigations, audits, and inspections until fully resolved.

Professional Knowledge & Experiences

  • Newly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Occupational Health and Safety), or hold internationally recognized SSHE diplomas
  • 3 years of experience in managing health and safety (Drilling and Wells is preferable) or
  • 5 years of experience in Exploration and Production (E&P – Onshore / Offshore)

Additional Desirable Qualification

  • Proficiency in both Thai and English communication
  • TOEIC score above 650
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
