About the Role

Mar-Bella Collection: A family-owned group of four award winning five-star luxury hotels, dotted around the Ionian Sea in Greece & curated to suit the ever-changing needs of guests across different stages of their life. Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a passionate Pastry Trainee to join our team for 2026 in Corfu

  • Assist the Pastry Team in preparing and baking desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality and taste.
  • Prepare ingredients and equipment for daily service, including scaling, measuring, and mixing.
  • Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean and well-maintained, following health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control and stock rotation to maintain freshness of products.
  • Learn and apply the techniques used by the Pastry Chef to contribute to the creativity and innovation of new desserts.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Basic understanding of pastry techniques and baking processes.
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and a passion for pastry arts.
    • Creative and eager to learn new skills.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    • A positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
    • A diploma or certificate in pastry arts or culinary studies is advantageous.
