<p><strong>The job:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and test materials settings for peak performance (speed, surface quality, supports, etc)</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Evaluate current material setting performance to identify areas for improvement</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Design and execute experiments, using results to inform and develop improvements in software or hardware</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Learn and operate high accuracy measurement equipment to validate your projects</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well-organized, good time management, and excellent attention to detail</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Communicate test results effectively and in a timely manner</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with data analysis</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with experimental design</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working with protocols/SOPs</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Enthusiastic and interested in 3D printing</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Skills (Optional): </strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Basic understanding programming and scientific computing, ideally Python and/or Matlab</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Familiar with mechanical design and CAD modeling (Solidworks/OpenScad/Onshape a plus)</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Interns at Formlabs are paid on a bi-weekly pay schedule. The pay range for this role will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location and expected impact on the organization. This is a salaried role, so you will always be paid based on the assumed 40 hours per week as a full-time intern. This position does not offer housing or relocation assistance.</span></p></div><div class="title">The bi-weekly pay range for this role is:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$2,800</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$3,300 USD</span></div></div></div>
