This is a hybrid, in-person program based in Palo Alto, CA, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>Wing is looking for a <strong>Guidance, Navigation, Control Software Engineering</strong><strong> Intern </strong>to join our <strong>Wing Flight Systems</strong> based in <strong>Palo Alto, CA</strong>.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>Wing is looking for an intern to join the Guidance, Navigation &amp; Control team! The GN&amp;C team designs and implements algorithms for path planning, state estimation, flight control, actuation, and contingency management. Team members work closely with other engineers in aerodynamics and propulsion, perception and computer vision, machine learning, and embedded software.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Need:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027</li> <li>Strong examples of hands-on engineering experience from prior work experience, university programs, internships, or student organizations</li> <li>Experience designing or tuning state estimation for autonomous robots</li> <li>Experience with aircraft dynamics</li> <li>Experience with C++, Python, or Matlab</li> <li>Familiarity with machine learning, statistics, or large scale data analysis</li> <li>Passion for aviation, drones, or related technologies</li> </ul> <p><strong>This is your chance to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Join a team of fellow robotics, autonomy, and aviation engineers to pursue commercial drone delivery at scale</li> <li>Gain experience with robotics, estimation, and prediction in real world environments</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below + benefits.
