LOCATION: This role will be on the Fort Benning, GA project site. 

ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Construction Intern who will have exposure to a variety of construction management areas and have the opportunity to work in these areas based on their skills and interests. You will be working in an incredibly fast-moving business and will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

The Tepa Companies 2026 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week in the office location.

Job Functions:

  • Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
  • Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFI’s, and coordination of submittals.
  • Observing and supervising construction activities.
  • Assisting with project close out activities.
  • Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
  • Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
  • Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
  • Assisting with safety enforcement.
  • Organizing and attending project meetings.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or another related field from an accredited program. 
  • Must be within two years of graduation (Rising Junior/Rising Senior) 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
