Qualifications

The Memory Care Center of Excellence (MCCOE) Intern  works as an apprentice under the direction of the VP of Memory Care Center of Excellence and is responsible for functions needed in the MCCOE. The MCCOE Intern will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:

 

 

Assist in developing training materials, toolkits, handouts, and visual aids.

· Conduct literature searches on neuroscience, dementia best practices, engagement strategies, sensory interventions, and emerging innovations.

· Summarize findings and prepare brief, digestible summaries for MCCOE leadership.

· Assist in coordinating MCCOE initiatives and pilot programs across campuses.

· Attend internal meetings, take notes, and prepare follow-up documents.

· Assist with data collection related to Legacy programming, engagement, Life Story completion, and other MCCOE metrics.

· Help review qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making.

· Help draft or update family-facing educational materials, tip sheets, and dementia communication tools.

· Support creation of campus-ready training assets and resource packets.

· Conference preparation

· Case study preparation

· Support for external collaborations

 

Physical requirementsSitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors and all business associates outside of the health campus.
