Are you pursing a degree in Engineering and looking for hands-on experience with a growing company? Lakeside Foods is seeking a motivated Engineering intern who is interested in applying their educational knowledge and business practices in a real-world environment. Come join our team and we will give you the opportunity to work on various projects.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Job shadow and train with Engineering staff
  • Assist Engineering staff with various capital projects related to equipment and infrastructure improvement
  • Shadow and observe Engineering activities from the process and environmental side of the business
  • Assist in engineering functions including: capital planning, design of experiments, layout drafting, environmental reporting, etc.
  • Work on specific engineering projects as assigned
  • Collaborate and network with other interns to help improve our processes

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Engineering major, working towards completion of BS or BE
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience with Excel and AutoCAD
