<p>Join Wing's 12-week paid summer internship! This is a hybrid, in-person program based in Palo Alto, CA, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship. </p>
<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p>
<p>Wing is looking for a<strong> Field Quality Intern </strong>to join our <strong>Quality</strong> team based in <strong>Palo Alto, CA</strong>. Our team evaluates the quality of our product from design (prototype) to components to contract manufacturers and the field.</p>
<p><strong>In this role you will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Simplify Nest cable management and layouts to make them easier to build and maintain.</li>
<li>Identify points of failure in the current system and develop mitigations</li>
<li>Engage with cross-functional Design, Manufacturing, and Operations Teams to develop and implement appropriate design improvements</li>
<li>Support in developing roadmap for updating all existing and future Nests to incorporate mitigations and design improvements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You’ll Need: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027</li>
<li>Mechanical Drafting (SolidWorks) and Electrical Wiring Diagram creation experience</li>
<li>Strategic mindset to understand the needs and comprehend requirement which can be converted to actionable and viable plans </li>
<li>Ability to work independently to investigate issues and communicate findings to cross-functional teams</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills</li>
