About the Role

Job Title: External Audit Intern – Audit & Assurance (FasTrack)

 

What impact will you make?

The FasTrack programme will provide you with exposure to real-world processes with Deloitte’s global platforms during client audits. You will develop know-how in data analytics and cognitive technology, and benefit from on-the-job training, leadership guidance, and hands-on audit experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on cross-border teams, enhancing assurance efforts in diverse industries, and connecting academic and practical learning to drive audit innovation. You can expect to receive a well-rounded and bespoke experience that will help you develop a growth mindset and empower you to accelerate your future career progression.

 

Upon successful completion of the programme with fitting performance, you will secure a priority offer for full-time position as an 2nd year Associate at Deloitte Singapore upon your graduation.

 

Work you’ll do

You will undergo a 30-week structured internship programme which allows you to have hands-on experience with Deloitte’s holistic global platforms, Deloitte Omnia (cloud-based) and Deloitte Levvia when carrying out client engagements in external audit. Through these experiences, you will get to participate in reimagining the future of audit and better interlace your academic learning with practice. You will gain exposure to real-world processes by performing and assisting audit engagement teams in a variety of assurance and testing work for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries.

 

Ultimately, the internship will equip you with higher-value skills and varied capabilities to build a strong foundation and accelerate your future career progression.

 

Requirements

  • We are looking for accountancy undergraduates with a strong interest in a career in external audit, excellent inter-personal, analytical and strategic thinking skills. 
  • Candidates pursuing Singapore CA Qualifications are preferred. 
  • Under the FasTrack programme, you will commit to 30 cumulative weeks for the internship programme, which can be completed in either a single phase (30 weeks) or two phases (i.e. 10 and 20 weeks or 15 and 15 weeks). 

 

To note: 

For undergraduates who have previously completed an External Audit internship stint with Deloitte Singapore during local diploma studies, you may be eligible for the Propel programme.

  • Under the Propel programme, you will commit to 20 cumulative weeks for the internship programme, which can be completed in either a single phase (20 weeks) or two phases (10 and 10 weeks).
