Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better.</p> <p><strong>The opportunity:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated intern to join our Treasury team. This internship will combine expertise in foreign exchange (FX) trading with a strong focus on data analysis, including market data, customer transaction behavior, and the development of automated trading strategies and dashboards.</p> <h3><strong>What You Will Learn &amp; Do:</strong></h3> <p>This is a practical, learning-focused internship where you will directly support our Quantitative Analysts by:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Data Analysis:</strong> Assisting in the collection and analysis of market data and customer transaction patterns using SQL and Python.</li> <li><strong>Strategy Support:</strong> Helping to develop and test models that inform real-time trading decisions and risk management strategies.</li> <li><strong>Process Improvement:</strong> Learning and practicing your coding skills to automate data preparation for internal reports and dashboards (e.g., in Tableau or Power BI).</li> <li><strong>FX Risk:</strong> Supporting the team with daily reporting and data verification related to foreign exchange (FX) exposure.</li> <li><strong>Interest Rate Risk: </strong>Supporting the team with short-term investments of excess operational cash and client funds</li> <li><strong>Hands-on Experience:</strong> Gaining exposure to complex treasury and trading workflows not found in traditional finance environments.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Being a 3rd-4th year student of Economics / Finance / Accounting / Mathematics or related area.</li> <li>Flexible availability during work hours.</li> <li>B2 and a higher level of both spoken and written English.</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL - ability to make basic queries.</li> <li>Good analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage time effectively to meet testing deadlines.</li> <li>Being self-motivated and willing to learn new stuff.</li> <li>Interest in Financial Markets</li> </ul> <p><strong>What</strong>&nbsp;<strong>we believe<br></strong>At TransferGo, we offer competitive rewards to all people.
