THE OPPORTUNITY

If you love golf, thrive in a team environment, and want to see what it takes to make the game happen at a championship level, this is the place to do it.

TGA Championship Operations Interns are part of the team from day one — traveling across the state, working alongside experienced staff, and helping conduct some of the most respected amateur competitions in the country.
You’ll get an inside look at how events are planned, built, and delivered, and gain valuable hands-on experience that goes far beyond scoring and setup.

This role offers exposure to every aspect of tournament administration: men’s and women’s championships, regional and statewide competitions, USGA qualifiers, and even national-level events hosted in Texas.

Many of our interns have gone on to full-time positions with the TGA or other golf organizations nationwide — while there’s no hiring guarantee, we see this internship as a true stepping stone for future leaders in the game.
