About the Role


Les vétérinaires sont essentiels à notre organisation et nous avons leur relève à cœur. Ainsi, contribuer au développement des médecins vétérinaires de demain est indissociable de l’ADN du Groupe vétérinaire Daubigny. Dans le cadre de ce développement, le groupe Daubigny offre des opportunités d’emploi pour les étudiant(e)s de médecine vétérinaire dans une variété de cliniques partout à travers le Canada

À titre d'étudiant(e), tu travailleras aux côtés d’une équipe vétérinaire expérimentée au sein d’un de nos établissements où tu pourras expérimenter nos méthodes de travail. Tu auras la chance de faire une rotation à travers les différents rôles de la clinique ou de l’hôpital pour observer les procédés, expérimenter le service à la clientèle et le traitement des patients et prêter assistance dans certaines mesures.

Cette expérience te permettra de :


  • Gagner confiance en tes habiletés techniques

  • Développer tes compétences de communication interpersonnelles

  • Obtenir un aperçu unique de l’importance des différents rôles dans un hôpital ou une clinique vétérinaire


Selon tes objectifs de formation, un(e) vétérinaire mentor te sera assigné(e) et tu auras l’opportunité d’atteindre des cibles d’apprentissages personnalisées.


À quoi t’attendre :


Le programme d’emploi étudiant peut durer jusqu’à 16 semaines. Sous la supervision du directeur(rice) de l’établissement et du/de la vétérinaire mentor (et selon les lois provinciales), l’étudiant(e) agira à titre d’assistant(e) dans une variété de rôles au sein de la clinique. Selon tes qualifications, tu pourrais être amené(e) à occuper les fonctions de réceptionniste ou d’assistant(e) vétérinaire/technicien(ne) en santé animale. Tu apprendras à communiquer avec les clients, à fournir des soins vétérinaires adéquats, à utiliser les logiciels de la clinique, à préparer et surveiller les chirurgies et tu auras l’opportunité de développer tes compétences interpersonnelles.


Éligibilité:


  • Être un(e) étudiant(e) de première, deuxième ou troisième année inscrit(e) dans un programme de médecine vétérinaire accrédité.

  • Être autorisé(e) à travailler au Canada

  • Être disponible pour une période de 6 à 16 semaines avec un horaire flexible de 20 à 40 heures semaine, incluant des soirs et fins de semaine.


*La sélection sera effectuée selon les disponibilités de l’hôpital désiré.
