Opportunity Overview

Join our dynamic Engineering team as a PCB Design Engineer Intern, where you'll collaborate with the PCB Design Engineering Group focused on developing cutting-edge Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for advanced Semiconductor Test Systems and Instruments. In this role, reporting directly to the PCB Design Engineering Manager in Costa Rica, you will play a key part in:

 

  • Automating and enhancing PCB design processes to boost overall team efficiency.
  • Optimizing design workflows by utilizing scripting tools and industry-leading design automation software.
  • Developing and implementing standardized procedures to reduce manual errors and ensure high-quality outputs.

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a BS degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced in the study plan and required to enroll in a graduation project or professional practice.
  • English Proficiency.
  • Basic knowledge of PCB Design.
  • Scripting, Perl, or Python knowledge

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Cadence Allegro or similar PCB design software

 

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following behavioral traits:

  • Excellent attitude and initiative to propose solutions to problems that don’t have a resolution yet.
  • Ability to multitask.
