POSITION PURPOSE

Prosperity Bank is offering a paid Spring Internship in the Lubbock Banking Center at 1401 Avenue Q, Lubbock, TX. We are seeking active students enrolled as a Finance major set to graduate in the 2026 calendar year. Master of Science in Finance is preferred. The program will offer a broad view of community banking with an emphasis on credit and lending.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

8-week program, 5 days per week and 4 hours per day.

Internship coordinator will meet with interns at least two times per week. (start & end of each week)

Interns will attend at least 1 loan committee meeting.

3 Lunch & learn days with various members of the WTX Leadership Team.

Departments need to engage students with daily responsibilities or projects. (limit employee shadowing)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: 
Pursuing a degree in Finance, preferably a Master of Science in Finance. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 
Minimum junior in college (to be senior or pursuing master’s in the next academic year).
