Inter IKEA Systems BV, based in Delft, is offering an internship for a motivated student to join our People & Culture team. This is a hands-on internship, not a graduation (research) internship.

Your Daily Activities

As a People & Culture (HR) intern in Inter IKEA Systems BV, you will:

  • Gain knowledge and experience in People & Culture (P&C) areas such as recruitment, labour law, internal communication, administration, and about the retail industry in order to grow personally and professionally.
  • Support with daily operations and administrative tasks
  • Support in developing people-related trainings.
  • Help harmonize processes in order to provide a more streamlined experience.
  • Perform tasks flexibly, prioritizing when necessary and working proactively to ensure completion of projects.
  • Bring new perspectives to the table by applying creative thinking in a problem solving mindset.
  • Take on tasks or participate in other job assignments within the P&C team.

About you

To be successful as our P&C intern, you have to:

  • Have a passion for people / Human Resources.
  • Be proactive and curious.
  • Be comfortable working in a team, while also being able to work independently.
  • Have strong communication and social skills and
  • Have good English reading & writing skills.
  • Enjoy a diverse and dynamic international working environment.
  • Have good knowledge about working with MS Office and be open to exploring other digital tools.
  • Be enrolled in a relevant education program, for example Business Administration, Human Resource Management, International Business etc.
  • Available from February 2026, for 32–36 hours per week for at least 5 months. This is an on-site internship (no remote options)
