Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE   

We are seeking an organised and proactive Campaign Management Intern to support the Campaign Management Leads in planning, executing, and optimising advertising and promotion tasks for Syngenta's agricultural solutions in South Africa. This role is crucial for ensuring effective campaign delivery and contributing to market presence and growth. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about campaign strategy and execution within the agricultural sector.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

  • Gain practical, hands-on experience by contributing to real business projects that impact Syngenta's operations and strategic objectives.
  • Develop professional competencies by working alongside experienced colleagues across different functions and teams.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of Syngenta's business, products, and the agricultural industry.
  • Apply academic knowledge to solve practical business challenges and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning throughout the internship period.

Qualifications

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics, or equivalent.
  • Have strong academic performance and motivation (Min 70% average in major subjects)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of market analysis techniques and advertising principles.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus.
