Role Overview

The Intern, Total Rewards provides support to the Compensation, Benefits, and HR Operations function on various initiatives, activities and projects across the department. Areas of focus include Administration, Data Entry, HR Information Systems, and Benefits / Wellness Programs. 

This position reports to the Director, Total Rewards. The position is based in the NYC office. In office requirements Monday – Thursday 9AM-5PM with flexibility to be in office on Friday’s when necessary.  

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding and Offboarding 

  • Onboarding and offboarding of all North America staff  
  • Coordination of onboarding materials including but not limited to New Hire Orientation, Benefit Orientations, Welcome emails, badges, ect.,  
  • Organizational chart updates  


Benefits and Wellness 

  • Support Total Rewards in Benefits Reporting 
  • Support Total Rewards in Beneficiary Audits 
  • Employee Spotlights  
  • Participate in the wellness committee to enhance community engagement and committee organization  


Reporting and Data Management 

  • Execute tasks related to data integrity and reporting for the HR systems 
  • Learning Management System (Stitch) Activations and Deactivations 
  • Compensation Tool Activation and Deactivations  
  • Monthly Milestones  


Compensation and Workforce Planning 

  • Track HR budget spend and month-end accrual submission  


Other 

  • Projects as assigned 
  • Support Reception and Office Facilities as needed  

Requirements

  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities 
  • Ability to follow up and execute various cross functional projects  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Interest in Human Resources, Compensation, Analytics, Reporting, and Financials   
  • Actively pursuing secondary education or a recent graduate in a related field preferred not required  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge/extreme curiosity in PowerBI 

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our NYC office 

PAY RATE: $20/hour
