We are responsible for the “operating system” of Zipline: critical applications that manage hardware production and inventory, fuel demand generation and customer engagement, enable data-driven decision making, and orchestrate fulfillment, flight, and delivery at scale. Our work spans internal platforms that streamline manufacturing, supply chain, and financial workflows, as well as external-facing applications that allow customers to place and track orders. By connecting every corner of the business through software, we ensure Zipline can operate efficiently, intelligently, and globally.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take technical ownership of critical features across Zipline’s consumer mobile and web apps, from design through deployment and iteration</li> <li>Build features in the React Native mobile codebase or backend services in Python and Go</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally to build user-facing features that are fast, elegant, and grounded in a strong understanding of customer needs</li> <li>Influence our long-term technical roadmap and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Passion for software development and curiosity to learn new technology stacks</li> <li>Strong understanding in computer science fundamentals</li> <li>A product mindset and passion for crafting intuitive, delightful customer experiences</li> </ul> <h4><strong>What Else You Should Know</strong></h4> <p><em>Our internships are full-time positions, in-person at our South San Francisco or Dallas office. We will host our Summer 2026 interns from May or June to August.&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Candidates are limited to&nbsp;<strong data-start="868" data-end="917">three (3) applications within a 30-day period.</strong></em></p> <p>The starting cash range for this internship is $40 - 44/ hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location.
