<h3>The Position</h3><p><b><b>2026</b><b> Summer</b><b> Intern - </b><b>Structural Biology / Physiological Chemistry</b></b><br />​</p><p><b>Department Summary: </b></p><p></p><p><span>The mission of the Department of Physiological Chemistry is to investigate cell death and inflammation pathways of importance to human disease.</span><br /> </p><p>The Department of Physiological Chemistry is looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented intern for the summer of 2026. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge scientific research, specifically in protein biochemistry and cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM).</p><p></p><p><span>The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to studies focused on the scientific mechanisms of cell death and inflammation. Under the guidance of a mentor, the intern will conduct experiments utilizing state-of-the-art instruments and will have the chance to collaborate with scientists across various departments.
