<h3>The Position</h3><p><b><b>2026 </b><b>Summer</b><b> Intern - Learning & Skill Development</b></b></p><p></p><p><b>Department Summary</b></p><p><span>The Learning & Skill Development (LSD) organization is crucial in establishing a digital culture and mindset across the Commercial and Medical Group (CMG), ensuring all customers—employees, managers, healthcare providers, and patients—receive timely and relevant information and skills. LSD is transforming CMG into a continuous learning culture by advancing skills management, digital learning, experiential learning, and workflow learning. The team includes learning business partners with deep business acumen, Learning Design Architects focusing on perennial and business transformation areas, and instructional designers and multimedia partners who build best-in-class learning products. LSD scales these products through facilitators, learning technologists, and an analytics function that links skill development to business impact.</span></p><p></p><p><b>This position is based in South San Francisco, CA, On-Site.</b></p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist in designing and implementing data analytics tools under the guidance of senior team members.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytic products</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with stakeholders, gather data requirements, and share preliminary insights.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Utilize statistical tools to identify trends and patterns in datasets.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain accurate records of findings and participate in team discussions to share insights.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Program Highlights</b></b></p><ul><li><p><span> </span>Intensive 12-weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.</p></li><li><p>Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)</p></li><li><p>A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. </p></li><li><p><span>Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.</span></p></li><li><p>Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.<span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who You Are (Requirements) </b></p><p><b>Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or m</span><span>ust have attained a Bachelor's degree (recent graduates not currently enrolled in a grad program).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Must be pursuing a Master's degree or m</span><span>ust have attained a Master's degree.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Must be pursuing a PhD or m</span><span>ust have attained a PhD (Please note these candidates are NOT eligible for an internship in Research Biology, Drug Discovery, or DevSci).</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in data manipulation and analysis.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with data cleaning and processing techniques.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Programming skills with experience in SQL, Python, or R.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Previous experience with educational or biomedical data is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in developing and implementing databases and data collection systems.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. </b></p><p></p><p>The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of  South San Francisco, CA is $26 - $44/hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
