Data Engineering Intern - Data Warehouse Redesign

<h2><b><b>About the Role</b></b></h2><p>We’re looking for a motivated Intern to join our Partner and Sales team! Your main mission: help us reinvent the data warehouse by redesigning and implementing our code on DBT. We invite you to an opportunity where you build a modern, and future-proof data platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll get to dive into real-world data engineering challenges and learn from experienced engineers working on global-scale data solutions.</p><h2><b><b>What You’ll Work On</b></b></h2><ul><li><span> </span>Refactoring existing DWH code to DBT, acquire skills in Analytics Engineering.</li><li><span>Learning how to </span>build and engineer data models<span> that power analytics across multiple teams and countries</span></li><li><span>Implementing </span>data quality and governance automations<span> to ensure flawless data and business trust. </span></li><li><span>Collaborating with senior engineers and analysts to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions</span></li><li><span>Documenting and improving processes along the way</span><br /> </li></ul><h2><b><b>What You’ll Learn</b></b></h2><p><span>By the end of your internship, you’ll have hands-on experience with:</span></p><ul><li>DBT (Data Build Tool):<span> industry-standard tool for modern data transformation</span></li><li>Data modeling principles:<span> how to design scalable, consistent, and accurate data models</span></li><li>Best practices in data quality & automation</li><li>Collaboration in a global analytics environment</li><li>Real-world migration projects<span> – the kind you won’t learn in school</span><br /> </li></ul><h2><b><b>What We’re Looking For</b></b></h2><ul><li><span>Interest in data engineering / analytics / ETL processes</span></li><li><span>Some exposure to SQL (DBT experience is a plus, but not required)</span></li><li><span>Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team environment</span></li><li><span>Curious mindset and attention to detail</span><br /> </li></ul><h2><b><b>Practical Details</b></b></h2><ul><li>Location:<span> Our office in Amsterdam – a cool, collaborative space where you’ll join us </span>on Wednesdays  & Thursdays<span>. The rest of the days, you can work from home.</span></li><li>Hours:<span> Flexible, but a minimum of </span>24 hours per week<span>.
