<h2><b>About the Role</b></h2><p><span>We’re looking for motivated </span>Interns<span> to join our Global Logistics Data Engineering team.</span></p><p><span>Your main mission: help us modernize our ingestion pipelines, porting Airflow ingestion DAGs, and taking advantage of Real-Time data streaming.</span></p><p><span>We invite you to join an opportunity where you can work on real-world projects, building a modern, future-proofing data platform.</span></p><p><span>This is a hands-on role. You'll dive into real data, build experience with the Google Cloud Platform, and work alongside a global team of experienced data professionals</span></p><h2><b>What You’ll Work On</b></h2><ul><li> Porting existing ingestion DAGs to the new Airflow ingestion platform</li><li>Refactoring existing Data Lake code to take advantage of real-time streaming </li><li>Implementing data quality and governance practices to ensure data accuracy </li><li>Collaborating with experienced engineers to understand technical and business needs</li><li>Documenting and improving processes along the way<br /> </li></ul><h2><b>What You’ll Learn</b></h2><p><span>By the end of your internship, you’ll have hands-on experience with:</span></p><ul><li><span>Gain </span>experience<span> working with </span>Airflow<span> and the </span>Google Cloud Platform</li><li><span>How to work with </span>large amounts of data</li><li>Best practices<span> in data quality and automation</span></li><li>Collaboration<span> in a global team environment</span></li><li><span>Work on a </span>Real-world<span> project</span></li></ul><h2><b>What We’re Looking For</b></h2><ul><li>Interest in data engineering, analytics, ETL processes</li><li>Some exposure to SQL and Python (Google Cloud Platform exposure a plus, but not required)</li><li>Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a fast-moving team environment</li><li>Curious mindset and attention to detail<br /> </li></ul><h2><b>Practical Details</b></h2><ul><li>Location: Our office in Amsterdam – an energetic, collaborative space where you’ll join us on Mondays & Wednesdays. The rest of the days, you can work from home.</li><li>Hours: Flexible, but a minimum of 24 hours per week.
