Public Policy & Regulation Intern

We are seeking an intern to join our team. Holland & Knight's Public Policy & Regulation Group operates a fall, spring, and summer internship program for current undergraduate students.  Our internship program is structured around the academic semester/summer schedule. Generally, interns work a minimum of 18 hours and a maximum of 25 hours.  This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct substantive issue research.

  • Virtually attend congressional and executive branch agency hearings.

  • Draft memorandums.

  • Prepare presentations for client meetings.

  • Provide general administrative support to our Atlanta-based lobbying practice group.

  • Participate in meetings with the firm's senior personnel to discuss their practices, backgrounds, and experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong writing skills are essential requirements.

  • An applied understanding of executive and legislative branch processes will also be valuable to the intern experience.

Education:

  • Eligible candidates are current undergraduate students in good standing. Summer candidates must plan to be enrolled in class for the following fall semester.
