JOB SUMMARY: The Player & Family Services Intern is a part-time, paid internship that extends through the entire 2026 Texas Rangers’ season into early October.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assist with answering and appropriately responding to phone requests and departmental inquiries

  • Manage all aspects of incoming players’ fan mail received by the department in a timely manner.  Including but not limited to opening, sorting, organizing, and distributing

  • Assist with assembling and distributing items such as goody bags and special requests

  • Assist with answering and appropriately responding to phone requests and departmental inquiries

  • Assist with special projects, activities, and departmental duties, including but not limited to, game day activities (nights and weekends)

  • All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able and willing to work flexible hours - including holidays, nights and weekends

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to comfortably lift 40 lbs

  • Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
