Job Description

Graduate - Document Controller

The Graduate level Document Controller will assist in establishing, implementing, and managing robust document control systems to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all project documentation is accurately recorded, organized, and distributed in compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in maintaining comprehensive document control systems tailored to the needs of infrastructure projects.

· Maintain all project documentation—including drawings, contracts, specifications, and reports—ensuring all records are accurately logged, stored, and distributed to relevant stakeholders.

· Assist in implementing standardized document numbering, revision control, and filing procedures in alignment with organizational and client standards.

· Manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as ACC, ProjectWise, and Aconex to support efficient workflow processing.

· Support routine audits of document control processes to identify gaps, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with quality assurance teams by providing timely and accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

· Prepare regular document control reports, including updates on approval status, revisions, pending tasks, and distribution activities.

· Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors.

Qualifications & Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent.

· Technical Skills: Practical, hands-on experience with ACC, ProjectWise, and Aconex (or similar EDMS platforms).

· Good understanding of documentation workflows within infrastructure or construction projects (advantageous), document formatting, including layout standards, styles, templates, and formatting rules for formal documents.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
