Assists directorate, supervisors, and/or other staff members with projects as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT  

No additional required.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

An individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

A valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating may be required by department.  

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

Must be able to operate standard office equipment and computer software.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
