Internship Overview: 

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Radio Frequency Engineer Summer Intern to contribute to our lunar exploration initiatives. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the field of radio frequency engineering, offering exposure to real-world projects and challenges in the aerospace industry.  


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the RF engineering team to design, develop, and test radio frequency systems for lunar missions. 
  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of communication links between spacecraft and ground stations. 
  • Contribute to the implementation of radio frequency hardware and software solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements. 
  • Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of RF systems, including signal processing and modulation/demodulation techniques. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other spacecraft subsystems. 
  • Stay informed about advancements in RF technology and contribute to discussions on potential improvements in mission capabilities. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing an Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Understanding of radio frequency principles, antenna design, and communication systems. 
  • Exposure to RF antenna design or simulation and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, CST, HFSS). 
  • Knowledge of space communication protocols and standards. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
